The work Noir (Black) stands as a weather report for the soul, a fragile verticality from the Les Petites Brutes series. This fragment opens onto a sky of pale blue striped wallpaper where the shadow of a black cloud hovers, drawn with muted intensity in graphite.
In echo, the lower part holds a shred of blue velvet—a heavy, soft material pierced at its base by a small "X" embroidered in red thread. This textile scar, a point of reference within the rupture, transforms the assemblage into an intimate relic where the depth of the velvet attempts to console the darkness of the sky.
