Within the Fragments series, the work Une odeur sur ma chemise unfolds like a troubling confidence. Between the domestic patterns of the wallpaper, a narrative fragments: two nervous lines, yellow and red, precede a shred of a missive where the confession is written: une odeur sur ma chemise.
On the central rectangle, pinkish traces mark the support like an organic archive. Further on, a deformed chair traced in primary red pastel seems to slump under the weight of a lingering presence. An exploration of the "force of the few" where a sensory memory becomes a physical and persistent presence, haunting the spaces of daily life.
Materials : Paper, ink, pencil, soft pastel, and acrylic.
