In THE PETITES BRUTES series, the artwork "X" unfolds as a vertical dialogue between raw texture and intimate delicacy. In the upper space, an abstract oil pastel drawing anchors itself onto the rough texture of corrugated cardboard. Below, a pink tulle pouch, stitched directly to the support, suspends the gaze and holds a bow-shaped charm, like a secret or a vestige preserved from time.

This assemblage highlights the power of the few, where the forsaken cardboard bears the imprint of an absence. The instinctive pictorial gesture at the top responds to the meticulousness of the stitching below, evoking the theme of abandonment and the precariousness of early landmarks. By letting this bow float within its tulle setting, the artwork becomes the vessel for a suspended memory in the midst of the world's harshness.
